This Privacy Policy explains how CielPM, Inc. ("Glutt", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Glutt mobile application (the "App").

If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the App.

A. Information you provide

Depending on the features you use, we may collect:

  • Account information (if accounts are enabled), such as email address and authentication identifier.
  • Profile/preferences, such as dietary rules, allergies, disliked ingredients, nutrition goals, and feature settings.
  • User content, including recipes you add/import, pantry items, grocery items, meal plans, leftovers, food logs, notes, ratings, and support messages.
  • Media you choose to upload, such as pantry photos, meal photos, and recipe screenshots.

B. Information collected automatically

We may collect limited technical data for operation and reliability, such as:

  • device/platform type,
  • app version,
  • basic diagnostics/crash data,
  • coarse usage telemetry (if enabled in your release configuration).

We do not use your data for third-party ad tracking.

3) How we use information

We use information to:

  • provide and operate core app features (recipes, planning, pantry, logging),
  • sync data across devices (when account/cloud sync is enabled),
  • personalize recommendations and app behavior,
  • process AI-assisted features you request,
  • secure accounts and prevent abuse,
  • troubleshoot issues and improve reliability,
  • comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

4) AI features and third-party processing

When you use AI-powered features, Glutt may send relevant content to third-party AI providers (for example, OpenAI-compatible APIs) to generate responses.

Examples include:

  • import cleanup/reconstruction,
  • "invent from pantry",
  • recipe adjustment,
  • leftover remix,
  • pantry photo scan,
  • meal photo estimation,
  • free-text assistant responses.

Data sent may include recipe text, pantry items, prompts, and images you explicitly choose to process. We send only what is necessary for the requested feature.

For OpenAI API usage:

  • by default, API data is not used to train OpenAI models unless explicitly opted in by the API customer;
  • API prompts/responses may be retained for abuse monitoring for up to 30 days by default;
  • stricter retention controls (such as zero data retention) may be available for qualifying accounts.

We do not use AI outputs as guaranteed factual advice. You should review generated content before relying on it.

5) How we share information

We may share information:

  • with service providers that host infrastructure, process AI requests, analytics, crash reporting, and support tooling;
  • when required by law or legal process;
  • during a merger, acquisition, financing, or asset transfer;
  • with your direction/consent.

We do not sell your personal information.

6) Data retention

We keep data for as long as needed to provide the App and fulfill legal/operational obligations.

  • If local-only mode is used, data stays on your device unless you export/share it.
  • If account/cloud sync is enabled, data is retained in our backend until deleted by you or us according to this Policy.

7) Your choices and rights

You can:

  • update account/profile information in-app,
  • manage permissions (camera/photos) in device settings,
  • request export or deletion (where required),
  • use in-app account deletion (if account features are enabled),
  • contact us to exercise applicable privacy rights.

Depending on your region (for example EEA/UK/California), you may have additional rights such as access, correction, deletion, portability, objection, or restriction.

8) Children's privacy

Glutt is not directed to children under 13 (or the age required by local law). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under that age.

9) Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information. No system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10) International transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, which may have different data protection laws.

11) Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and provide notice where required.
