Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and CielPM, Inc. ("Glutt", "we", "us", "our") governing your use of the Glutt mobile app and related services (the "Service").

By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1) Eligibility and account

You must be legally able to agree to these Terms and comply with local laws.

If accounts are enabled:

  • you agree to provide accurate information,
  • you are responsible for your account security,
  • you must promptly notify us of unauthorized account use.

You may delete your account through in-app account deletion (when available) or by contacting support.

2) The service

Glutt helps users import/save recipes, plan meals, manage pantry/groceries/leftovers, log food, and use AI-assisted cooking features.

Features may change over time. We may add, remove, or modify features to improve the Service, comply with law, or protect users.

3) AI-generated content disclaimer

Some outputs are generated by AI from your inputs (text, pantry data, images, preferences).

  • AI outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your needs.
  • You are responsible for reviewing generated recipes, substitutions, nutrition estimates, and food-safety implications before use.
  • Glutt does not provide medical, dietary, or professional advice.

4) User content and licenses

You retain ownership of content you submit (recipes, photos, notes, lists, etc.).

You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, reproduce, and display your content solely to operate and improve the Service and provide requested functionality.

You represent that:

  • you have rights to content you upload/import/share,
  • your content does not infringe third-party rights or violate law,
  • imported source content is used in accordance with applicable rights and platform terms.

5) Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • violate laws or third-party rights,
  • reverse engineer or disrupt the Service,
  • upload malicious code or abusive content,
  • attempt unauthorized access to accounts/systems,
  • misuse AI features in ways that violate law or these Terms.

We may suspend or terminate access for violations.

6) Third-party services

The Service may rely on third-party providers (e.g., hosting, AI, analytics, crash reporting). Your use may also be subject to those providers' terms and policies where applicable.

We are not responsible for third-party service outages or platform policy changes.

7) Subscriptions, paid features, and billing (if offered)

If paid plans are offered:

  • pricing, billing period, trial terms, and renewal terms will be shown before purchase,
  • payment is processed via Apple In-App Purchase unless otherwise stated,
  • subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before renewal,
  • refunds are handled by Apple under Apple policies,
  • you can manage/cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID subscription settings.

If no paid plans are currently offered, this section applies once they launch.

8) Intellectual property

The Service, software, branding, and non-user content are owned by CielPM, Inc. and its licensors, and protected by intellectual property laws.

Except as allowed by law or these Terms, you may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service.

9) Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operation.

10) Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CIELPM, INC. AND RELATED PARTIES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (OR USD $100 IF NONE).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

11) Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless CielPM, Inc. and related parties from claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or law.

12) Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time.

We may suspend or terminate access if needed for security, legal compliance, non-payment (if applicable), or Terms violations.

Sections that by nature should survive termination remain in effect (e.g., IP, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, governing law).

13) Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

For disputes that are not required to be handled in another forum by applicable law, you and CielPM, Inc. agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Delaware, and each party consents to personal jurisdiction and venue there.

Nothing in these Terms limits non-waivable consumer protections under applicable law. Where mandatory law in your place of residence provides additional rights or requires a different venue, those rights and venue rules continue to apply.

14) Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms. If changes are material, we will provide notice as required by law. Continued use after effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
